Position Summary:
The Outpatient X-Ray Tech will perform radiographic procedures and assist with front desk duties during low volume periods at the client's location. This role is essential for maintaining an effective balance between patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
Required:

\t
• Minimum of 2 years of radiography experience
\t
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
\t
• Certificate and/or advanced technical training in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT-accredited)
\t
• ARRT registry in Radiography
\t
• NJDEP X-Ray License
\t
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiologic procedures and patient care practices

Preferred:

\t
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences

Key Responsibilities:

\t
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, appropriate machine settings, radiation exposure techniques, image acquisition, and post-processing
\t
• Record patient history and relevant clinical information
\t
• Review imaging orders, explain procedures, and provide excellent patient service
\t
• Assist physicians during fluoroscopic and/or invasive radiological procedures
\t
• Maintain department cleanliness and supply inventory.
