T he Department of Surgery at Stamford Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible General Surgeon with fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care to join our growing Trauma Division . This is a 50/50 split between Trauma Surgery and General Surgery, with opportunities to teach surgery residents and medical students.

Join a collegial team of 5 surgeons (3 trauma, 2 general) in a Level II Trauma Center with over 800 trauma admissions annually. Stamford Hospital is a physician-led, community academic medical center and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University with a free-standing surgical residency program. Qualifications
  • MD/DO or foreign equivalent
  • BC/BE in Neurology
  • Fellowship in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology (Epilepsy track)
  • Proficiency in EEG and inpatient critical care video monitoring
  • Eligible for Connecticut medical license
