We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Hand with a strong background in carpentry and a general knowledge of construction work. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in carpentry and various other trades. This role requires a versatile and adaptable individual who can perform a range of construction tasks and provide support to our team as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, and installation.
• Perform general construction duties, including demolition, repairs, and material handling.
• Operate and maintain construction tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of job sites, including clearing debris and organizing materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry and construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Basic knowledge of a variety of trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc.) is preferred.
• Own tools are a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Own personal tools.
• Experience with different types of construction projects (e.g., residential, commercial, renovation).
• OSHA or other relevant certifications.
