As a Security Officer - Armed Patrols in Clearwater, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This position requires you to be armed, and you will be expected to demonstrate sound judgment and integrity at all times. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or incidents.
• Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or members of the public as required by the location.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and/or other security-related equipment as required by post guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
