Job Title: Recruiting Manager – Marketing & Creative (Direct Hire)

Location: Hybrid – Irvine, CA

Reports To: Director of Permanent Placement Services

Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Recruiting Manager to lead efforts in building and managing a book of business while recruiting top-tier full-time marketing and creative professionals. This individual will be responsible for generating new client partnerships , managing existing client relationships , and sourcing and placing high-quality candidates in direct hire positions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with companies in need of full-time marketing and creative talent.
  • Conduct outbound outreach, networking, and in-person or virtual meetings to build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Develop customized staffing strategies that align with each client’s needs, goals, and culture.
  • Negotiate and close direct hire contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for active client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with hiring managers and key decision-makers.
  • Provide ongoing support and strategic guidance to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnership retention.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of open roles—from intake to offer acceptance—ensuring timely communication and quality service.

Recruiting:

  • Source, screen, and present qualified candidates for a wide range of marketing and creative positions (e.g., brand managers, digital marketers, copywriters, graphic designers, etc.).
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates for both skill alignment and cultural fit.
  • Maintain a strong network of passive and active talent through industry engagement, referrals, and recruitment marketing.
  • Guide candidates through the hiring process, from interview prep to offer negotiation and onboarding support.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in recruiting, account management, or business development—ideally within a staffing or agency setting.
  • Proven track record of developing new business and maintaining high-performing client accounts.
  • Experience placing marketing, creative, or digital talent in direct hire roles strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (familiarity with CRM tools), and the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Understanding of current marketing and creative trends and talent market dynamics.
  • Experience working in a performance-based, metrics-driven environment.
