Job Description

Position Overview

Flexjet is redefining the aviation industry through innovative, user-centered technology—and we’re looking for a Product Designer to help lead that transformation. In this role, you’ll blend thoughtful interaction design with practical research methods to shape digital experiences that support flight operations, pilots, and customers.

As a Product Designer, you’ll be responsible for crafting end-to-end digital experiences—from wireframes and prototypes to polished UI designs. You have a sharp eye for detail, a deep understanding of design systems, and the ability to translate complex workflows into simple, elegant interfaces. Your design decisions are grounded in user insights, usability principles, and a drive to create seamless, engaging interactions across web and mobile platforms.

This is more than a design role—it's an opportunity to shape the future of aviation technology by designing tools and platforms that are not only functional but also delightful and impactful.

If you're driven by curiosity, innovation, and the chance to design for real-world complexity, we’d love to have you on board. Help us elevate the aviation experience by delivering elegant solutions that meet real user needs.

What You’ll Do As a Product Designer

  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design user-centric web experiences from concept to launch. You’ll actively participate in cross-functional teams, ensuring design is embedded throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Design & Rapid Prototyping: Transform user insights into intuitive, engaging design solutions. Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes that align with both user needs and business goals.
  • Design System Maintenance: Help design, grow, and maintain robust and scalable design systems that ensure consistency and efficiency across all products.
  • Advocate for the User: Champion usability and accessibility by incorporating feedback, usability test results, and user data into design iterations. Help ensure product decisions are driven by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.
  • Communicate & Align: Clearly articulate design rationale, research findings, and user journeys to stakeholders and team members. Help foster alignment by contributing to a shared understanding of the user experience across the organization.

Education & Experience

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience designing enterprise-level web and mobile user experiences for large-scale systems.
  • Deep expertise with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to apply best practices throughout the design process.
  • Proven track record of contributing to complex, technical products, with experience across desktop, web, mobile, or embedded interfaces.
  • Strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating excellence in early-stage ideation, user research, interaction design, and pixel-perfect UI execution.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment where open communication, respectful feedback, and a commitment to high-integrity design thinking are valued.
  • Prior experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks, partnering closely with product managers and engineering teams to drive results.
  • Solid understanding of back-end development fundamentals, including databases, logic, APIs, and system architecture—enabling effective cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, empathy, passion, originality, and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Thrives in agile, fast-paced work environments, maintaining focus and adaptability under pressure.
  • Able to translate complex requirements into user-centered solutions that are intuitive, engaging, and impactful.
  • Maintains a clear focus on business objectives throughout the creative process while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
  • Delivers high-quality, polished designs with exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive team culture.
  • Maintains strict adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and integrity across all design outputs.
  • Behaves with integrity in all aspects of design work, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and ethical guidelines.
