Adecco is currently assisting a National Pharmaceutical client, recruiting for a Physician Assistant in San Antonio, Texas. Apply today!

The Physician Assistant delivers defined patient care services in a retail clinic environment. You will work in collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals as you independently provide holistic, evidenced based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients ranging in age 18 months and above.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients on maintaining proper health to influence quality outcomes.
  • Evaluate, make recommendations, co-manage, and treat patients' medical needs for safe and high-quality treatment.
  • Document all patient care within an electronic health record. Help develop Patient Centered Practice Teams.

Experience:

  • 1+ year of professional Physician Assistant (PA) experience.
  • DEA required.
  • DOT preferred.
  • Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Initiative, problem-solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously

Compensation - The anticipated wage for this position is between $72 and $74. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Schedule - M-F:830a-730p, Sa:9a-530p, Su:9a-530p Sun. Every other weekend.

Education:

  • Completion of a: Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Masters Degree in conjunction with Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role required.
