Duration: 12 Months
Location: Hybrid 3 Days a Week Onsite in New York, NY 10004
Pay: $37 per Hour (W2) Job Description Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm with diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating operational risks, developing strong client relationships, and partnering with technology to leverage IT and e-solutions. The Operations department continually strives for process improvement while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures, and markets.
Responsibilities: - Obtain and verify client data attributes using authorized validation sources.
- Ensure client data is up-to-date and compliant with policy guidelines.
- Input and maintain regulatory identifiers.
- Perform process analysis and contribute to change initiatives.
- Participate in the identification and execution of process improvement projects.
- Analyze data and generate reports on process volumes, risk, and quality.
- Collect and validate client documentation for CIP and ongoing documentation refresh.
- Follow up on issues with functional stakeholders.
- Liaise with Business Units to gather necessary AML documentation and explain requirements when needed.
- Execute job responsibilities in line with supervisor instructions.
Requirements: - 25 years of prior experience in a related KYC/AML role.
- Solid knowledge of KYC and AML compliance policies in a U.S. banking environment.
- Strong understanding of the client onboarding process and entity-specific documentation.
- Familiarity with various financial products across business lines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong sense of accountability; deliver tasks within assigned timeframes.
- Ability to respond to queries from team members in a timely and professional manner.
- Uphold high ethical standards in line with the organizations Code of Conduct.
- Commitment to organizational values and teamwork.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive in escalating issues and risks to supervisors.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure.
- Strong upward and downward communication skills.
- Quick learner with ability to acquire necessary business knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
