Key Personnel is seeking an Insurance Coordinator for a company in the Edmond area.

Insurance Coordinator Pay Rate: $16-$20

Insurance Coordinator Hours: 8am-5pm M-Th, 8am-12pm Fri

Insurance Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Verify all insurance types including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and work comp.
  • Maintain current listing of insurance contracts and payment schedules.
  • Document authorization prior to delivery of equipment.
  • Maintain current information on correct and lawful billing practices.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Enter all insurance information into billing software.
  • Answer telephone and performs other duties as necessary.
  • Adhere to the facility dress code and appear professional at all times

Insurance Coordinator Requirements:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of billing software.
  • Display excellent technical and medical knowledge.
  • Possess a positive and friendly disposition.
  • Demonstrate strong organization and communication skills and be patient-oriented.
  • Exhibit the ability to handle patients, care-givers and clinic staff with care and compassion.
  • Display strong follow-up skills and pay close attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to calm patients who may be upset.
  • Possess the ability to adjust to constantly changing workloads.
  • Work well in a team environment.
