Mappco Construction combines the capabilities of a commercial General Contractor with the personal attention of a Construction Manager. Specializing in professional project delivery strategies, Mappco focuses on early collaboration with owners and designers to provide outstanding client service at every project stage. The company offers commercial construction services for various project types in Northern Colorado.

👊 What You’ll Be Doing

As an Estimator at Mappco, you play a critical role in bringing clarity and confidence to our project planning. You’ll help guide teams by delivering accurate, well-researched estimates that lead to smart decisions and successful builds.

You’ll:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mid-size commercial construction projects
• Review plans and specifications to complete accurate quantity take-offs
• Create conceptual budgets and preconstruction estimates from early-stage drawings
• Lead final pricing tasks—vetting subcontractors, managing bid forms, and analyzing risks
• Collaborate with our Operations team during project buyout
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and partners
• Represent Mappco at site visits, pre-bid meetings, and industry events

🔧 What You Bring to the Table

• 3+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects
• 5+ years in the commercial construction industry (field experience a big plus)
• Confident across all scopes of work, from concrete to finishes
• Skilled with computer take-off software and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong communicator and team player who’s comfortable leading and collaborating
• Familiarity with local subcontractor markets is a bonus
• Proficiency estimating from conceptual design through hard bid
