Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to electrical design packages for industrial projects, from concept through construction.
• Design and layout power distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, VFDs, switchgear, and lighting systems.
• Develop and interpret single-line diagrams, cable sizing plans, and power correction schemes.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams and integrate electrical design with mechanical and process systems.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks to deliver high-quality, coordinated design models and drawings.
• Interpret P&IDs and ensure alignment of electrical systems with process requirements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in electrical design, ideally for industrial or manufacturing projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, power distribution, cable sizing, lighting design, and associated systems.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is essential.
• Working knowledge of P&IDs and integration with electrical systems.
• A collaborative mindset and a detail-oriented approach to engineering design.
