Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children with developmental and behavioral concerns, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, and emotional disturbances.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for children with chronic developmental and behavioral conditions.
  • Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers regarding behavioral strategies, educational resources, and community services.
  • Collaborate with schools, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in developmental and behavioral pediatrics to provide evidence-based care.
  • Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness of developmental and behavioral health issues.
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics; subspecialty certification in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics preferred.
  • Valid medical license to practice in California.
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families.
