You’ll want to snorkel during your trip to the BVI – there are some amazing things to see like turtles, octopus, and ship wrecks.
While your charter company will provide you with all the gear you need, a mask, snorkel and fins, I highly recommend taking your own gear with you. That way you know your mask and fins will fit you and be comfortable. The few times I’ve used the charter company fins, I’ve gotten blisters.
Carrying a mask and snorkel in your luggage is not a big deal, but fins take up a lot more room.
