    We have rented a bare sailboat for 8 day’s in Jan. 1i was wondering if it would be better to bring our own meats to eat? I do not know how customs handles this.
    Thank You

      You can bring meat in. We do that so that we can season them at home and package them up in meal size packages. You can also easily buy meat there too.

    Hi there, wanting to sail the BVI as a couple and only having power boat experience, are there ways to sail with another couple
    that have sailing experience and want to share costs for a week to 10 days? We are active couple 58 yrs young who like to scuba and snorkel and would like to start from Tortola. February 2016. Thanks, Bobby

      A couple of options for you:
      * Rent a power catamaran.
      * Invite friends and hire a captain.
      * Rent just a cabin on a crewed boat. Moorings has this option.

    Headed to the BVIs in Feb 2017 for our third trip of bareboating. This Newsletter is excellent as the information is right on the mark for anyone not familiar with the area and for those that have yet to explore all of the islands.
    A great resource.
